Restaurants & Hospitality

Digital marketing for restaurants and hospitality

Almost every restaurant and hotel decision starts on a map. Someone searches nearby, looks at photographs, reads recent reviews, and books — often within minutes. Being the option they choose depends on three things being right at that moment, and on the booking not having to go through an aggregator taking a cut.

Local 3-Pack

THE PROBLEM

What usually gets in the way

  • Not in the top three on the map

Local searches show three listings first. Everything below them gets a fraction of the attention, whatever the food or the rooms are like.

  • Reviews are old or unanswered

Recent reviews and replies are what a diner reads. A profile with nothing in six months reads as a place that may not be open.

  • Aggregators own the customer

Bookings through aggregators cost a commission on every order and give you no way to reach that customer again directly.

HOW WE HELP

What we actually do about it

  • Google Business Profile worked properly

Menu, timings, photographs and attributes complete and current, which is most of what decides local map ranking.

  • A review process the team can run

A simple routine for asking at the right moment and replying to every review, so the profile stays active without anyone chasing it.

  • Direct booking that works on a phone

A booking or ordering route on your own site, so repeat customers can come back without a commission in between.

  • Food and property photography

Photographs that look like what you actually serve, because that is what is being compared on the map.

WHAT YOU GET

Included in the work

  • Google Business Profile optimised and kept current
  • Local SEO for nearby search and map visibility
  • Review generation and response process
  • Direct booking or ordering on your own site
  • Food, interior and property photography
  • Social content calendar with seasonal campaigns

QUESTIONS

Asked often

How do we get into the local map results?

A complete and active Google Business Profile, consistent name, address and phone number everywhere online, recent reviews, and real photographs. There is no shortcut, but it is the highest-return work available to a local venue.

Should we take bookings directly or through aggregators?

Both, but direct bookings should be possible. Aggregators bring reach; direct bookings avoid the commission and let you contact that customer again, which is what makes regulars.

How much do photographs matter?

More than almost anything else. People choose between venues by looking, and stock photography is obvious. Real photographs of your food and your rooms are the single best investment here.
